If you’re like most people, you probably have a love-hate relationship with technology.
Why Workout Not Uploading To Garmin Connect?
If you’re like most people, you probably rely on your phone or computer to keep track of your workouts. But what if you could have a personal trainer right in your pocket?
With the Garmin Connect app, you can track your workouts and see your progress in real-time. You can also connect with friends and family and compare your results. But what if you’re not seeing your workouts upload to the app?
There could be a few reasons why your workouts aren’t uploading to Garmin Connect. One reason could be that you’re not properly syncing your device. To sync your device, open the Garmin Connect app and select the “Sync” tab. Select your device from the list and click “Sync Now.”
Another reason your workouts might not be uploading is that you’re not using the correct format. When you save your workout, make sure you save it as a .FIT file. This is the file format that Garmin devices use to store data.
Finally, if you’re still having trouble uploading your workouts, make sure you’re using the latest version of the Garmin Connect app. You can check for updates by selecting the “About” tab in the app. If there’s an update available, select “Update.”
Once you’ve checked all these things, try uploading your workout again. If it still doesn’t work, contact customer support for help.

What Happens If You Upload A Workout To Garmin Connect That Was Not Tracked By A GPS Device?
I occasionally do workouts that don’t get recorded by GPS (for example, I’ll do a strength training session or an indoor bike trainer session). When I upload these to Garmin Connect, it creates a workout with a duration of 0:00. Is there a way to upload these workouts to Garmin Connect and have them show up in my calendar and training plan as a non-GPS workout? I’d love to be able to see these in my workout history, even if they are marked as “virtual” or something like that.
For what it’s worth, I do use the “Add Manually” feature for these types of workouts, and they do get added to my calendar and training plan. However, they are still marked as ” Indoor” workouts, and they don’t show up in my workout history. I’d love to see them in both my calendar and my workout history.
I’ve also tried creating a workout in the “Create Workout” feature, and then uploading it to Garmin Connect. This doesn’t work either, as it still creates a workout with a duration of 0:00.
Is there a way to upload workouts to Garmin Connect that were not tracked by a GPS device? If not, is this something that could be added in the future?
